Outdoor School


The Multnomah Education Service District offers a week long camping and nature program for all Portland 6th graders in the fall or spring. High school students act as counselors.

Who's Eligible: Lakeridge students who have a 3.5 cumulative GPA, completed homework, and have no unexcused absences may apply to become junior counselors. The final selection of junior counselors is made by the permanent staff at the Outdoor School site when students attend a 2-day workshop.

This popular and up-beat week long camp is held during the summer in Salem and is sponsored by OASC (Oregon Association of Student Councils).
