Under the Oregon Education Act for the 21st Century, site (school) councils are to be responsible for guiding professional growth programs, instructional improvement efforts, and implementation of restructuring.

At Lakeridge the council is responsible for professional development and instructional changes connected with our CIM implementation project and our block periods. It is a decision-making body with responsibility for implementing LHS instructional goals.

The council generally meets twice a month and consists of parents, teachers, administrators, and a classified staff member.
