Photo Composition Examples
Most of you did a great job understanding the concept of the photo composition assignment but missed the boat on composition. The composition is the way the photograph comes together using all the elements and principles of art. Think about your perspectives, your backgrounds, and the unity of the overall image, be creative, think like an artist would.
Note all examples are images taken by students who are in Art 1 right now. Names are not attached to the images. This images were selected to help all students see the difference between an image that captured the concept but missed the boat on composition. Not intended to humiliate, just educate.
If you want to take a new picture please follow these directions. You have one week from today to redo your images. Redoing your images does NOT mean that your grade will go up, it's means it has the potential to go up. Save your picture in the shared folder as: newformalbalance.jpg, or newselectivefocus2.jpg Remember when you save your images you CANNOT drop and drag or cut and paste. You have to save as from Adobe Photoshop or the image will not show up.
You must turn in your green slip to Ms. McB in order to have your images reviewed again.
